Japanese idol Singer Mariko Shinoda in bikini bottoms sexy pictures

In Japanese culture, idols are usually female media personalities in their teens and early twenties who are considered particularly cute and cuddly and who will, for a period ranging from several months to a few years, regularly appear in the mass media, e.g. as singers for J-pop groups, bit-part actors, TV personalities, models in photo spreads published in magazines, advertisements, etc.

In January 2006, Mariko Shinoda joined the group. Ayako Uemura and Yuki Usami of Team A both graduated during 2006.AKB48 released its debut single "Sakura no Hanabiratachi" in February 2006, which made it to #10 on the Oricon weekly charts and sold 22,011 units in its first week - surprising for a group on an indies label.
